Information for original paper submission

Papers are to be submitted through the CMT paper management system.

Please refer to the Call for Papers for information on the goals and scope of CRV 2023.

All authors must agree to the policies stipulated below:

• The CRV review process is single-blind: authors do not need to anonymize their submissions.

• Submissions must be between 4 to 8 pages (two-column) long. Submissions less than 6 pages will most likely be considered for poster sessions only.

• Submissions will use the following templates:

  • LaTeX template

  • Microsoft Word template

• Example PDF document with formatting instructions

Policies

Review Process: By submitting a paper to CRV, the authors agree to the review process and understand that papers are processed by the Toronto system to match each manuscript to the best possible chairs and reviewers.

Single-Blind Review: CRV reviewing is single-blind, in that authors do not know the names of the reviewers of their papers, but the reviewers do know the names of the authors.

Plagiarism: Plagiarism consists of appropriating the words or results of another, without credit. Generally, reviewers can recognize plagiarism when they see it; it is unlikely that a reviewer will be uncertain whether plagiarism has occurred. CRV 2023’s policy on plagiarism is to refer suspected cases to the IEEE Intellectual Property office, which has an established mechanism for dealing with plagiarism and wide powers of excluding offending authors from future conferences and from IEEE journals. You can find information on this office, their procedures, and their definitions of five levels of plagiarism at this link. We will be actively checking for plagiarism.

Author Registration: Before submitting to CRV 2023, please ensure that at least one author of each accepted paper is committed to register and attend CRV 2023

Information for Oral Presentations

The oral paper presentation will be in person, 12 minutes long, with 3 minutes additional time for questions. Please test your presentation setup beforehand. The presentation times and details on the program will appear shortly.

Information for Poster Presentations

There is no specific requirement for the dimension of your poster. However, we suggest 60” wide x 40” high (1.5m wide x 1m high). There is no specific template for the posters. You should choose the format that best represents your research work. The program of the conference will be available shortly. Please check your presentation date/time on the program.
